Running from March 23 to April 22, this inaugural event is designed to promote environmental awareness and foster community spirit, offering a great opportunity for families and individuals to come together during this vibrant season.
Unpacking the Blooms: What to Expect
The BLOOM campaign aligns perfectly with the community’s aspirations to embrace sustainable living while enjoying fresh outdoor activities. From World Water Day celebrations to enriching Earth Day festivities, participants can engage in hands-on activities that promote eco-friendliness and learning.
On March 22, World Water Day kicks off the month with critically engaging activities like water experiments for children. Teaming up with the Flint Riverkeeper, attendees can support local conservation through donations while receiving complimentary water bottles—an effort to promote hydration and mindfulness of our water resources.
Spring Festivities: Fun for All Ages
As the seasons flourish, so do the festivities! The Spring Festival on April 18 promises a delightful experience with family-oriented activities including face painting and an egg scavenger hunt hosting over 10,000 eggs, thanks to The Church of the King. Additional attractions include butterfly crafts facilitated by the Southern Conservation Trust, providing a hands-on way to appreciate nature.

Art lovers can enjoy the Arts & Crafts Market on April 22, featuring local artisans from the Newnan-Coweta Art Association.
