This spring, the walking path at Suwanee Town Center transforms into a beacon of purpose with the return of the Relay For Life of Gwinnett on April 26, 2025. Set against the backdrop of beautiful Atlanta parks, this event brings together survivors, caregivers, families, and friends for an inspiring evening dedicated to fundraising and honoring those impacted by cancer.
Experience a Night Filled with Empowerment
Running from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere, complete with bounce houses, a Tribute Garden, and live performances by local student bands. Not merely a walk, this event celebrates life with numerous activities designed for all ages, ensuring a family-friendly evening while raising essential funds for cancer research.
Heartfelt Ceremonies and Community Engagement
The heart of Relay For Life lies in honoring those who have battled cancer. The Survivor Celebration from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. invites cancer survivors and their caregivers to share dinner, hear inspiring speakers, and participate in a Survivor Pinning Ceremony. As dusk descends, the poignant Luminaria Ceremony lights the way for reflection and remembrance, with personalized luminaria bags lining the track to honor lost loved ones and those still fighting.
Bringing Together Atlanta's Spirit of Giving
Local vendors will also be on-site, offering delicious food options like sugar cones and hot dogs, with some donating proceeds back to the cause, amplifying the event’s sense of community. Every element, from the Prayer Lap to the Glow Lap, is designed to connect people through shared experiences of love, loss, and triumph.
