However, a simple conversation with his wife changed everything. “If you lost your ring, you would want it back, right?” she posed, prompting him to search for its owner.

Utilizing the ring’s engravings, Orlowski connected with Karen Morris, a fellow Fordham graduate. In a remarkable show of community spirit, Morris reached out through social media to locate DiStefano. After a few inquiries, they found him in Arlington, Texas, and within days, the ring was on its way back to its rightful owner.
